City of Dreams and Hard Rock Hotel Macau (Waitress name and number removed)My Review
This is my first time to Hard Rock and Macau casino. We had bad impression of Hard Rock in terms of their customer service.
Day 1 when we arrived, we are lead to take the City of Dreams bus to go to Hard Rock Hotel. However when we are busy with loading our luggages into the bus, there are a few passagers board the bus. By the time we board the bus there wasn't enough seats for us. The lady-in-charge asked the newly boarded passengers whether alright for them to take the next bus, but they refused. So at the end, total 8 of us had to remove our luggages & stuffs out from the bus and wait for the next bus. If the lady-in-charge is experience enough and inform the later upcoming passengers that the bus is full, then there will not have this problem.
Evening time, we went to the Casino in Hard Rock Hotel. Understanding that we are allowed to order drinks from the waitress after I observed that other gambler done so, therefore I tried to wave to the waitress by the name of (Waitress name and number removed). She stood at least 3 arm length away from me. I asked her whether is it that I can order drinks from her. She look at me without response. I am not sure is it too far away she couldn't hear me or she don't understand what i ask. So I asked again. This time she answered me : "Want water is it (in cantonese)? . I said "Yes" She asked "Yam mei (= meaning drink what)? As this is 1st time I am there I not sure what they have so I asked :"what do you have?" Again she showed me her sulky face without answer me. So I turn to my hubby n asked him what he want so he mentioned COKE. So i told her "Coke" Again she don understand. I repeated again Coke in English. This time she responsed and said to me : Ko Lok is it? Think properly before you order, don't stop my time (= meaning don't waste her time). I was fuming mad! what kind of attitude is this? She isn't busy at all as the casino was not pack (not much customers at all) and she talked to customer at such a bad tone and attitude. If she not willing to work, why don't she stay at home?
Day 2 - we visited MGM hotel, the waitress in the casino is so friendly and even walk to customers to ask whether want any drinks.... Wow so great difference!!!
