One of Hong Kong’s top attractions, the Big Buddha is a 34ft tall statue that dominates the hills of Lantau Island. The Buddha is one of the biggest in the world and an awe-inspiring sight when you find yourself at the statue’s feet, under its shadow. Part of the Po Lin Monastery complex also on sight is a beautiful temple building manned by monks togged out in traditional clothing.
