Lamma Island's main village is Yung Shue Wan, a small, one street community now stuffed with bars, restaurants and shops selling picnic pieces.
This appealingly ramshackle village is great way to spend a few hours, either enjoying cake at an organic coffeeshop or a cheap pint at the scattering of expat orientated bars. Don't expect the glitzy glamour of Central or Kowloon, the restaurants and bars here are easygoing back garden set ups, but they have a charmingly unpretentious appeal.
