Central Magistracy Building

Central Magistracy Those who made their way to Police Headquarters would often find their next stop was the Central Magistracy. The current structure was erected in 1914, preceded by a host of temporary structures. Its colonial architecture is of a slightly later date than most in Hong Kong, with red bricks replacing the traditional whitewashed verandas. One of the most impressive aspects of the magistracy are the thick walls that surround the hill upon which it is built. Currently the building serves as a Police Club. 1 Arbuthnot Road, Central.
