Hong Kong fairs and exhibitions are the biggest in Asia and are an excellent place to pick up some great bargains, or make contacts with China’s big name brands in your industry. There are trade fairs and exhibitions going on in Hong Kong almost constantly, however most are closed to the public. The top ten below are Hong Kong fairs that are all open to the public on at least one day. Admission price is usually set very low; HK$10-HK$30.
1. Hong Kong Flower Show
Set in the beautiful surrounds of Victoria Park, the Hong Kong Flower Show blooms with displays and gardens from over twenty countries, as well as classes and demonstrations from respected experts.When: March 2010

3. Hong Kong Ani-Comics and Game Fair
Outside of Japan, the Hong Kong Ani comics and Game Fair is one the region’s biggest exhibitions of comics and anime related swag.When: July 31st- 4th August
4. Hong Kong Tea Fair
The city’s favourite tipple, try some of China’s best brands and pick up a bag to send home.When: August 13th -15th
5. Hong Kong Food Fair
Celebrating Hong Kong’s status as a foodie paradise; the Hong Kong Food Fair features around 500 exhibitors from all over the globe, including celebrity chef demonstrations, cooking classes and a shopping basket full of snacks and samplings.When: August 13th-17th
6. Hong Kong Lifestyle Showcase
With its no holds barred style of capitalism, Hong Kong is a magnet for luxury brands and all of the best will be on show here, with clothing, accessories, shoes, jewellery and cosmetics all on offer.When: August 14th-17th
7. Hong Kong International Wine and Spirits Fair
Enjoy wine tasting sessions and connoisseur classes as exhibitors from around the world uncork their best wines and unscrew their finest spirits. This is one of the city’s most popular fairs and you should book a place early.When: November 4th-6th
8. Inno Design Tech Expo

9. Hong Kong Brands and Products Expo
