Guide Review - Macau Tower Review
Standing 338m tall, Macau Tower is the 10th tallest free standing tower in the world. The viewing mast at the top of the Macau Tower holds several observation decks, with the top level a wobbly legged 223m high. According to the tower owners, you can see up to 50km away on a clear day, including China and Hong Kong. In reality, pollution cover makes that kind of view a rare occurrence, but you will get some spectacular vistas over Macau and the Pearl River Delta.
The Macau Tower’s main observation deck is on the 58/F and boasts glass bottomed views over the ground below. Further up, on the 58/F,, you’ll find a lounge and grill, while the 60/F is taken up by the constantly rotating 360 Degree café.
Aside from the views on offer, the tower is also home to a movie theatre and a selection of restaurants and shops.
Extreme Sports at the Macau Tower
One of the towers main attractions is the selection of extreme sports on offer, including the infamous Skywalk X, one of the first of it kind in the world. Thrill seekers will also find a mast climb, where you clamber up to the top of the tower, a bungee jump and a sky jump.
We’ve got a blow-by blow on each of the experiences in our Extreme Sports at Macau Tower guide, including prices.
