Macau Tower is host to a spectacular array of extreme activities which draw adrenalin junkies from around the world. The flagship project is the Skywalk X, which lets you take a stroll around the edge of the 300m plus tower, while mast climbing and the world’s highest bungee jump from the Macau Tower are also on offer. Details and prices are below.
Macau Tower Skywalk XIf the view from 61/F Observation deck isn’t quite spectacular enough for you, why not step outside? Attached to an overhead rail system, participants can walk around the outer rim of the tower with no handrail.
The World’s Highest Bungee Jump at Macau TowerAccording to the Guinness Book of World Records, the 233m jump from the Macau Tower is the highest bungee jump in the world. Bungee traditionalists actually claim it’s not a true bungee jump, as the rebounds are controlled by a cable guide system, but the initial 5 second freefall is the longest in the bungee world. As you zip through the air you’ll reach speeds of nearly 220kmh. Booking in advance is required.
Macau Tower Mast ClimbThe only way to reach the very top of the tower, the Mast Climb involves climbing the 100m from the main observation on the 61/F to reach the 338 meter pinnacle of the Macau Tower. The ascent takes about 2 hours and you’ll need to be in a decent physical condition to take part, although climbing experience isn’t a prerequisite. Booking in advance is required.
