If you have kids or even a husband who likes to spend Christmas morning bashing the buttons on something with flashing lights, then you'll find Hong Kong stacked with all sorts of weird and wacky gadgets. Some of the stuff you'll find in the Mongkok and Wan Chai computer centres is straight out of Futurama, and is sure to impress any gadgetophile.

Of course, as with most shopping in Hong Kong, the real attraction here is the price and, although the real steal deals of yesteryear are gone, you'll still find music players, mobile phones and, in particular, computer equipment a good bit cheaper than at high street retailers in the US or Europe. Still, if you really want a budget deal on a new PS3 or Blue Ray player, you'll need to head to Shenzhen.
