Hong Kong’s annual Winterfest is the focus of the city’s seasonal celebrations and the best place to get into the holiday spirit. The traditional centrepiece of the celebrations is the dazzling 30-metre high Christmas tree in Central’s Statue Square. The lights are switched on until 11p.m each evening. The square will also be filled with Christmas related stalls.
In other Christmas evets, you can also look forward roving carol singers on trams, buses and vans trying to cheer up desperate shoppers as the clock ticks down to D-Day. And, if you’ve got the kids, you shouldn’t miss a visit to Disneyland’s Sparkling Christmas. We’ve got it all covered in Christmas Events in Hong Kong.
