Hong Kong Real Estate Most Expensive Rental Market in the World
Lack of real estate space, combined with an increasing population, currently teetering near the 7 million mark, has combined to make Hong Kong the most expensive rental market in the world, according to Forbes.
Forbes found “In Hong Kong...in dollar-adjusted terms, a two-bedroom, unfurnished apartment runs $6,398 a month. By comparison, $4,000 a month for Moscow and $4,102 for Tokyo look cheap,". Numbers sure to make your bank manager sweat.
This isn’t the first time Hong Kong real estate has hit the high end headlines, last year, The Peak was revealed as the worlds most expensive location for buying a piece of land.
