The Olympics in Hong Kong

Friday January 4, 2008

That’s right, as the 2008 Olympics rumble ever nearer, many people still don’t seem to know that Beijing is not the only venue for the games.

Here in Hong Kong, locals and tourists can take in the thrills and spills of the Olympic equestrian events set to be held in the city. Hong Kong’s world class equestrian facilities have just received the thumbs up, after an inspection by the Olympic committee, and the event, barring any last minute typhoons, should be a fantastic showcase for the city.

Tickets for the event can be bought at China Travel Service agents in Hong Kong, as well as ticket sellers in your own country. Check out the International Olympic Committees website for full details.
