Hong Kong - Vancouver for less than $250?
Oasis Airlines, Hong Kong’s long-haul, low cost carrier, has announced the launch of flights between Hong Kong and Vancouver. The date penciled in is June 28th, with six flights weekly and fares starting as low as US$500 for a round trip (plus taxes). This slashes current prices to Hong Kong and is likely to force North American carriers to magic up some better fares to remain competitive. San Francisco and Chicago are also in the Oasis pipeline, with the San Francisco route likely to be unveiled before the year is out. The Vancouver flight is awaiting approval from Canadian authorities and you would be well-advised to wait until this is given before buying tickets.
